Why is good semen volume so important?
The quantity and quality of semen that is ejaculated is a major concern for men around the world. Why is this liquid given such high importance? For most men, semen volume is a major source of confidence because a large volume is usually associated with a high libido. Yes, some people may term the desire to have more volume as a vanity but there is certainly more to it. Good semen volume is also associated with fertility.
Male fertility on the decline
The leading cause of male infertility is low sperm count. Sperm count is an indication of the fertilizing capacity of a male. Semen plays a major role in fertility because it is responsible for nurturing and carrying sperm on its journey to the female reproductive tract.

- Lubricants used with condoms
- Testicular overheating
- Smoking and drug abuse
- Radiation treatment
